For today I say yes. A sweater, a pair of shoes, polo and shirt. This will be enough for light weight bag and sunny weekend

E’ vero che il wek end inizia il venerdì pomeriggio?
Oggi dico di sì. In primavera servono davvero poche cose, un maglioncino, una polo, una camicia e un paio di scarpe. Viaggare leggeri è il milgior modo per godersi un weekend di primavera.

Brogue goes mainstream? Even more people are wearing those kind of shoes and soon we will see them in Zara or H&M shops, in various colours and shapes.

Excellence never comes cheap. Could one of the main style detail become mainstream? Is the Style a right just for the well known inner circle?  Will you wear the same shoes that everybody around you are wearing? Do you fear to fade in to the mass? Probably the brogue shoes will follow the same path of “cerulean blue” in “Devil wears Prada” movie, they will be replaced by other models that sooner or later  will turn in the loop of the large retailers. There is nothing to fear.

Le brogue stanno diventando mainstream? Vedo sempre più persone intorno a me che indossano questo tipo di scarpe, e tra poco saranno in vendita anche da Zara o H&M, in vari colori e forme diverse.

La qualità e l’eccellenza non sono mai a buon mercato. Può diventare di massa uno dei principali dettagli di stile?  Un dettaglio può perdere il suo status, se esce dal circolo ristretto dei trend setter o quantomeno degli early adopter? Continuerai a indossare le stesse scarpe quando le avranno tutti intorno a te, e rischierai di scomparire nella massa?

Le brogue probabilmente seguiranno lo stesso percorso del golfino ceruleo del Diavolo veste Prada, verranno sostituite da altri modelli che prima o poi entreranno a loro volta nel loop della grande distribuzione. Non c’è nulla da temere.

I go crazy for all those details, and their no-politically-correct behaviors like smoking every where and drinking anytime.

I love to carry with me light wheight luggages for my outdoor weekend. I am just a little scared about which temperature I will find in the country side, I hope a wool coat wiil be enough.

New adventure in colours for this spring.
I don’t like challenging myself choosing coloured trousers, usually I buy blu/grey/cream pants. This year my approach will be totally different: this is the first try.

Nearly ten years ago I bought this coat.
A wonderful green wool tweed, a perfect english style. Today while I was collecting my warm dresses to change over my winter wardrobe for spring, I noticed that label.
Kentfiled had meant to me Kent Uk, but two line below I read Anchorage… Well I still love it, but this coat has made 8000 km (i have checked) to get into my wardrobe, unless I have missed an Uk Anchorage…

Ho comprato questo cappotto circa 10 anni fa.
Un bellissimo tweed in lana verde in perfeto stile ingelese. Stamattina mentre stavo facendo il cambio di stagione ho notato l’etichetta. Tempo fa Kentifield mi avave portatoa pensare che provenisse dal Kent Ingilterra, ma due righe più in basso, oggi, ho letto Anchorage. Beh, mi miapce ancora molto, ma questo cappotto ha percorso 8000 km prima di arrivare nel mio guardaroba, a meno che non mi sia perso un Anchorage in Inghilterra
